This paper aims to describe the rhetoric and masters of Minangkabau locality in the script of Sabai Nan Aluih tonic written by Sutan Sati. This paper aims to describe the rhetoric and masters of Minangkabau locality in the script of Sabai Nan Aluih tonic written by Sutan Sati. The type of this research is qualitative with descriptive method. The data in this study are words or phrases that can be formulated as rhetoric and masters of Minangkabau locality in the script of Sabai Nan Aluih written by Sutan Sati. In an introduction to the manuscript of Sabai Nan Aluih, Sutan Sati said that Minangkabau language can also be Indonesianized by not changing its language. Meanwhile, for people who do not know the language Minangkabaupun not lost meaning. That is, readers who are not of Minangkabau ethnic can also understand the language and contents of the story written in Minangkabau locality language.
