The state of Goiás stands out in the current process of expansion of Sugar Cane and due to logistical reasons, soil and climatic as well as economic interests its Southern central region is highlighted, with special emphasis on Quirinópolis. The state of Goiás stands out in the current process of expansion of Sugar Cane and due to logistical reasons, soil and climatic as well as economic interests its Southern central region is highlighted, with special emphasis on Quirinópolis. The expansion process of sugar cane first occurred in Dystroferric Red Latosol of clayey texture in replacement of areas of annual crop as the second step; once the supply of these areas is exhausted pasture areas in medium textured Dystrophic Red Latosol are replaced. The results confirmed the rapid expansion of planted areas, initially on areas before soybeans, which have been consolidated, and also revealed that the soils had shown high to very high compression risk. It is important to mention the unquestionable degradation of physical quality resulting from this process, supported by known indicators of increased penetration resistance, dispersion of clay and soil density, accompanied by the reduction of the macroporosity and changes in morphoporosity. It is concluded that compression, can be associated with the effects of management practices with heavy machinery, but studies so far, can be mitigated by the use of fertirrigation with stillage. ; El estado de Goiás se destaca en actual proceso de expansión de la caña de azúcar y los problemas logísticos, el suelo, el clima y los intereses económicos de su centro sur se encuentran en esta microrregión de Quirinópolis. En este proceso de expansión de la caña de azúcar se produjo principalmente en Oxisoles dystroferric zonas rojas arcillosas a cambio de la cosecha anual en un segundo momento agotado el suministro de estas áreas, en sustitución de las zonas de pastoreo en distrófica medio textura roja.
