In the present investigation a qualitative field study is carried out whose purpose is; propose strategies to counteract economic violence against women in the Los Sleeves neighborhood in the municipality of Sabanalarga for the 2020-2021 period. The specific objectives set out in the research are the following: 1. Analyze the regulatory framework regarding the standards of awareness, prevention of forms of violence and discrimination against women in economic violence. 2. Describe the factors that configure economic violence against women in the Los Sleeves neighborhood in the municipality of Sabanalarga period 2020-2021. 3. Identify the institutional care provided by the municipality of Sabanalarga Atlántico to women victims of economic violence. The methodology is of a socio-legal type, using hermeneutics, using life histories as a data collection instrument, direct observation in the social environment, as well as legal documents that enrich the project whose contributions are in the theoretical order as legal.
