As president of the Movement for the Recovery of Disappeared Children in the final years of the Argentine dictatorship, as well as in his public function as president of CONADEP from 1983 to 1984, Ernesto Sabato introduced the term "absolute innocents." Initially, he referred to the kidnapped newborn children and then to the disappeared young people. Inscribing the notion of "absolute innocents" in the framework of the reflection on victims of historical massacres and/or genocides and interrogating Sabato's thought on state terrorism, revolutionary violence, and the disappeared, we can affirm that the notion of "absolute innocents" constitutes a representation of the dictatorial past differentiated from the "theory of the two demons." However, it implies, in turn, a "forgetting" of the political identities of the disappeared individuals, especially of those who were members of political-military organizations. ; En su carácter de presidente del Movimiento por la Recuperación de los Niños Desaparecidos en los años finales de la dictadura argentina, así como también en cumplimiento de la función pública como presidente de la CONADEP entre 1983 y 1984, el escritor Ernesto Sabato utilizó el término “inocentes absolutos” para referir primero a los niños recién nacidos secuestrados y luego a los jóvenes desaparecidos. Inscribiendo la noción de “inocentes absolutos” en el marco de la reflexión sobre víctimas de masacres históricas y/o genocidios e interrogando el pensamiento de Sabato sobre el terrorismo de Estado, la violencia revolucionaria y los desaparecidos, podemos afirmar que la noción de “inocentes absolutos” constituye una representación del pasado dictatorial diferenciada de la “teoría de los dos demonios”, pero que implica, a su vez, un “olvido” de las identidades políticas de los desaparecidos, especialmente las de aquellos que integraron organizaciones político-militares. ; Enquanto presidente do Movimento para a Recuperação de Crianças Desaparecidas nos últimos anos da ditadura argentina e em seu papel ...
