Use of modified CAM-CLAY model in cohesive soils of the Sabana de Bogotá ; Utilización del modelo CAM-CLAY modificado en suelos cohesivos de la Sabana de Bogotá

An experimental research program was carried out on typical clays of The Sabana de Bogotá. Basic tests of characterization, one-dimensional consolidation and not drained consolidated triaxial compression were executed. The main parameters of strength and deformability in agreement with critical state theory were obtained. These parameters allow to conform an elasto-plastic model called Modified Cam-Clay (MCC) to reproduce the resulting strains for each applied stress path.
