And elsewhere in the Occitan region: Judeo-Occitan, a pan-Occitan reality?Notes and reflections on Judeo-Provençal ritual songs, particularly those for Pesah (Passover), based on 19th-century publications by Ernest Sabatier, N. Saboly and Dom Pedro d’Alcantara, and more recent work by George Jochnowitz and Frederic Vouland.The presentation will then focus on two Pesah songs: Lo Cabrit (from the Aramaic Had gadia) and Quau saup çò qu’es un? (from the Hebrew Ehad mi iodea), the presentation of which will include a sound recording.These songs will be compared to versions in other Jewish languages, and with Christian and profane songs in Occitan and other languages, especially Breton (to base the study on a large corpus and existing work), in an endeavour to confirm theories on the origin of these songs and to understand what they signified and why they spread. ; Une rapide présentation diachronique et synchronique de la langue judéo-comtadine, des écrits judéo-comtadins et de l’état des recherches à leur propos, avec une attention portée à la définition du shuadit, ou judéo-comtadin : s’agit-il de la langue juive de Provence ou de la langue provençale des Juifs ?
