In the region of the german-dutch border effects of road- and air traffic on the health of the population living near the NATO-airport Teverener Heide were examined. Altogether 364 children from Heinsberg (FRG), Geilenkirchen (FRG), Schinveld (Netherlands) and the reference are as Waldfeucht and Selfkant (FRG) were involved in the survey presented here.
