Veel vrijwilligersorganisaties, met name in de zorgsector, kampen met een tekort aan vrijwilligers. Bemiddeling is één (van vele) optie(s) om nieuwe vrijwilligers te vinden. In dit artikel wordt, op basis van een literatuurstudie, beschreven wat bemiddeling inhoudt, door wie of waar het wordt geboden en welk belang het heeft als wervingskanaal. Expliciet wordt ingegaan op aangetoonde succesfactoren voor bemiddeling en de mogelijke impact van bemiddeling op het behoud van vrijwilligers.
