In this report a description and analysis is given of hydrographical and biological data obtained during a one-week cruise in Dutch coastal waters with R.V. "Aurelia"; the cruise was held in the summer of 1972, in the framework of a series of investigations into the effect of eutrophication by the Rhine on phytoplankton of the Southern Bight.
