Solomon's Temple, palace and the Fortress Antonio ; Rabbi Leon, of Amsterdam, constructed a model of the Temple in 1641, adding massive concave buttresses to the mighty substructure of the Temple Mount. These were to influence the design of the Portuguese Synagogue in Amsterdam.
