Manipulation et information fictionnelle

On December 13, 2006, Radio Télévision Belge Francophone (RTBF) interrupted its regular programming with a special bulletin to report/broadcast a false news story : Flanders had seceded and unilaterally declared its independence. Through his analysis of this special bulletin, the author unravels the intricate articulation between linguistic and semiotic media representation, on the one hand, and media manipulation, on the other.
