From a taxonomic point of view, Keriophyllum yakowlewi HALLER, 1936 is placed in synonymy with Rhytidolasma dahlemense whereas the definitions of the genus Keriophyllum WEDEKIND, 1923 and of the species K. maillieuxi are emended. Several type specimens of the genera Rhytidolasma PEDDER, 1989 and Keriophyllum WEDEKIND, 1923 are also refigured.
