Etude des arythmies cardiaques chez 159 chevaux de selle belges ; Cardiac arrhythmias in 159 healthy belgian saddle horses

peer reviewed ; A resting electrocardiogram was performed in 159 healthy belgian saddle horses (5 stallions, 98 castrated horses and 56 females) aged from 2 to 20 years. Technics and methods of recording were standardized. The most frequent cardiac arrhythmias were second degree atrioventricular block (37 cases), wandering pace¬maker (16 cases), first degree atrioventricular block (7 cases) and second degree sinoatrial block (2 cases).
