Described also from Pantelleria Is., Ognina (Sicily), Livorno, Castiglioncello and Civitavecchia (Italy), Bandol, Port-Vendres, Roussillon and Villefranche-sur-Mer (France). Remarks. Amati (2012) revised this species and designated the lectotype (MCZR).
