The paper examines the Edict and the Istruzione per l’osservanza degli editti ed ordini concernenti i Valdesi e gli abitanti delle valli del Pragelato e Casteldelfino of june 20, 1730. Besides the essay reconstructs the observations on these norms made by Carlo Luigi Caissotti, the First President of the Senate of Piedmont from 1730 to 1750.
