Palm oil integration programme is envisaged to increase the family income of the palm oil smallholders. Palm oil integration programme through the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is implemented in two forms, namely palm oil with other crops and palm oil with livestock. The question emerges whether the palm oil integration practices are able to increase the smallholder income? Therefore, the objective of this study is to evaluate the extent of integration practices among smallholder can increase their family income. A total of 130 smallholders of palm oil integration in Sabah were surveyed and analyzed in this study. Descriptive statistics and dual-power test were used to answer the objective of the study. From the finding, most palm oil smallholders agree and strongly agree that the integration activities can increase their income. However, there is also a small fraction of smallholders who disagreed that the integration programme was able to increase their income. This finding proves that there are success and failure factors that lead to such answers. Therefore, these factors need to be investigated and refined to ensure the continuation of palm oil integration practices in future can assist in increasing the smallholder family income.
