Francisco Sabando is an Alava's Neoclassicism key figure. He was born in Labastida and was inscribed at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Madrid, becoming one of the first neoclassic architects in Alava, La Rioja and Navarra. This paper offers new information about his born, his family, their bonds with the Moraza family, his contact with neoclassic artists from Vitoria and Logrotio and the works known nowadays.
