In the present investigation strategies of adaptation and mitigation of climate change of the Valle De La Virgen and Sabanilla parishes of the Pedro Carbo canton are proposed, with the purpose of facing the affectations that climate variability and change have generated, thus allowing to have some bases that contribute to the reduction of pollution, conservation, mitigation and adaptation. In this context, a quantitative approach with observation and information gathering through surveys against climate change. As a result, there is an analysis of the main impacts of climate change, the various problems that were repeatedly triggered in the parishes, and the strategies that were implemented to make them available to the GAD; In accordance with the responses of both parishes, the construction of a matrix of adaptation and mitigation strategies to climate change is proposed in order to prioritize the safety of the population and improve its resilience, as well as the most vulnerable equipment and infrastructure; Finally, it is concluded that in the Valle De La Virgen and Sabanilla parishes of the Pedro Carbo canton, it is necessary to generate equipment exposed to threats of natural and anthropic origin, prioritizing the safety of the population and improving its resilience, as well as the equipment and the most vulnerable infrastructure, which provide solutions to the impacts associated with the climate threats that have been identified.
