Radiolarians are planktonic protozoon that play an important role in marine ecosystem and paleoenvironmental construction. The South China Sea (SCS) and Malacca Strait (MLS), strongly influenced by the East Asian monsoon, are the key gateway between the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
