Formulations Slow Release Tablet Diclofenac Sodium Using Starch From Saba Banana (Musa Balbisiana L)
The formulation of slow release tablet of diclofenac sodium using a matrix of starch from saba banana and sodium carboxyl methyl cellulose as a comparison has been done. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the slow-release preparations produced with starch from saba banana met the requirements of slow-release tablet . The dissolution test results show the formula I (starch of saba banana) was dissolved 110.24 %, formula II ( sodium carboxyl methyl cellulose ) was disolved 39.04 % within 8 hours.
