Globalisation's Impact on Local Food Identity in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

This study aims at the impact of globalisation on local food identity in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. This study surveyed 422 domestic tourists from Peninsular Malaysia using questionnaires as the research instrument. Tanjung Aru, Likas, and Universiti Malaysia Sabah are the study venues. Results showed that respondents agree with the statements under the globalisation awareness (item2, =4.15±2.534); localisation (item 2, =4.04±0.666); food intake (item 2, = 4.01±4.007).
