Avian fauna along the Fucha River in the city of Bogotá, Colombia ; Avifauna a lo largo del río Fucha en la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia

Results of the characterization of birds in four locations along the Fucha River and recommendations to increase their abundance and diversity are presented here. By travelling counts 67 species (1464 individuals) belonging to 24 families were observed. The presence of 10 boreal migrant species and five near-endemic species is highlighted. Localities with the highest species richness were El Delirio Reserve with 46 species (35 exclusives) and San Cristobal with 22 species, while the lower species richness was found in Industriales with 16 species.
