Jamaluddin Ibn Hisham Ansari has an important role in the history, development, progress and revival of Arabic syntax. He is the creator of a masterpiece titled “Mughnī al-Labīb ‘An Kutub al-A’ārib. He is an innovative linguist and an expert who uses novel methods and unique styles in understanding, discussing, comparing, deducting, expressing syntactic problems, and linguistic theories. The preposition “bā” has fourteen meanings from the viewpoint of Ibn Hisham, one of which is redundant and other meanings are non-redundant.
