Elderly as the final stage of the human life cycle, often colored with living conditions that are not in accordance with expectations, so that mental disorders such as depression. The prevalence of depression in the elderly 5-17% in health primer care, 20% the elderly in the comunity, 25% the elderly in the hospital and 40% the elderly in the nursing home.This study aims to determine the Relationship Spirituality With Depression In The Elderly in Panti Social Tresna Werdha Sabai Nan Aluih Sicincin Year 2017. The type of this research is descriptive analytic, with desain cross sectional study. This research has been conducted at Panti Social Tresna Werdha Sabai Nan Aluih Sicincin in September 2016 until June 2017. The population in this study are all elderly who are in Panti Social Tresna werdha sabai nan aluih recorded as many as 110 people, with a sample of 52 people who in Take with the sampling technique by simple random sampling. The result of univariate analysis showed that respondents had mild depression (63,5%) and bad spirituality (55,8%). While bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between spirituality with depression and value (p = 0,003). This research concludes that spirituality variables have a significant relationship with depression in the elderly.
