Predictive value and utility of oral steroid testing for treatment of COPD in primary care: the COOPT study.

BACKGROUND: The oral prednisolone test is widely used to distinguish chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients who might benefit from inhaled steroid treatment.
