Since the 1960s, the Syriacs immigration from Turkey to various European countries has occurred. One of these countries was the Netherlands. Indeed, the first Syriac Orthodox Church (Apostel Johannes Kerk) and metropolitan center (Mor Efrem Klooster) in Europe were also established in this country.
