The minimum wage in the Netherlands

The Netherlands has a national, government legislated minimum wage, which is usually adjusted twice a year, on 1 January and 1 July. Depending on the payment period of the firm or the industry, the minimum wage is defined on a monthly, weekly or daily basis.
