The potential adoption of teleshopping technologies in a spatial context:A decompositional choice experiment

This study uses a decompositional choice modelling framework to examine the potential adoption of teleshopping technologies as a function of their characteristics and the characteristics of the competing shopping centres. The investigation suggests that teleshopping will probably play only a minor role in retailing, with adoption rates being highly dependent upon the price a customer has to pay for the items, the price of the system itself, the available selection, and service and delivery charges.
