This paper analyses the first part of the Hispanic Journey undertaken by Margarita of Austria from 1497 (when she arrived in Spain to marry Prince John of Castile and Aragon, heir of the Catholic Monarchs) to 1499 (when she returned to her native land after becoming widowed).
