Robert F. Deed and many other journalists posed for a photograph in front of the plane which would take them to the Netherlands as guests of the Dutch government. Deed is third from left, wearing a dark suit and holding a KLM bag and a raincoat in front of him. The event was the E-55, an exposition to celebrate ten years of liberation from Germany.
