Analysis of Safety Concerns on Herbal Products with Assumed Phytoestrogenic Activity

Phytoestrogens (PEs) are plant-based compounds that can interact with estrogen receptors and are mainly used to treat menopausal complaints. However, the safety of products with assumed phytoestrogenic activity is not fully understood.
