An analysis of the behavior and position-taking of actors in the literary or artistic field should not focus merely on poetics and profit-maximizing strategies aimed at the accumulation of symbolic capital. At least as important is the subjective experience of social capital that these actors have. This includes values attached to respect, mutual understanding, friendship and support.
