Abstract: The Dutch edition of Olyvier van Castillen was printed around 1510 in Antwerp by Henrick Eckert van Homberch. The source of the Dutch translation was not one of the Burgundian manuscripts containing the French Olivier de Castille, but a printed edition, published in Geneva. In contrast to the existing view that the Dutch Olyvier has both a Spanish and a French source, this article shows that Olyvier was translated from a French edition only.
