YidTakNL Corpus: 18th– 19th Centuries Regulations of the High German Jewish Community in Holland

The YidTakNL dataset is a thorough bibliography of Yiddish regulations and announcements by the Ashkenazi Jewish community in Amsterdam between 1708 and 1846. All items are related to social, political and administrative aspects of community life. Most of the corpus scans are fully available online, and the regulations are being transcribed using a Transkribus PyLaia HTR model developed by the authors for Yiddish printed in the Vaybertaytsh typeface.
