J.J. (John Joseph) 'Toby' Holland, a former Palmetto mayor and FL state legislator
J.J. "Toby" Holland poses outside Palmetto's city hall. Holland was mayor of Palmetto from 1975-1981 and State Representative for District 67 from 1984-1992. He was instrumental in the establishment of Emerson Point Preserve. The preserve's welcome center is named for him.
