International audience ; In Spain and especially in Madrid baroque paintings show a significant influence of Rubens, both in formal terms and from a technical point of view. The influence excerted by Rubens and his followers was mediated by two channels: firstly by the works of these artists that were kept in Spain and secondly by prints coming from the Spanish Netherlands.
