Portrait of a woman in profile, attributed to Aart de Gelder, 17th century

Photograph from a series made for insurance or appraisal purposes (1961 Lane Brothers Assignment Book, page 73). There are four series made for Mr. and Mrs. Arnold S. Kaye of their art collection, this series of two photos of two paintings was made on March 10, 1961 at the Kayes' house (801 Douglas Road, N.W. -- house and road now destroyed) by Dan Lane. On June 3, 1962, the Kayes died in the Orly Field (Paris, France) plane crash. Attributed to Aert (or Aart) de Gelder. Present location of painting is unknown.
