Gambrel-Dutch style red barn with side shed, Sorenson family farm, Kittitas County, Washington, 2007
This Gambrel-Dutch style barn was constructed during the 1930s on the Sorenson Family farm located on Cleman Road in the Denmark District of the Kittitas Valley east of Ellensburg, Washington. The attached side shed was used for livestock and the top floor of the barn for hay storage. A metal roof has replaced the original wood shingle roof.
