Gambrel-Dutch style barn, fuel or fertilizer drums out front, Kittitas County, Washington, 2007

This short in length Gambrel-Dutch style barn is in need of new shingles on the roof. The very classic style barn was used for hay storage on the top floor and livestock on the ground floor. The two large metal drums or barrels were used for motor fuel or liquid fertilizer. They were mounted on large wooden beams were built over two dog houses.
