De Doorns, Dutch Reformed Church. The Murray-Dutch Reformed Church in De Doorns was built in 1950, 45 years after the congregation was created. The octagonal tower houses a bell that refers to this date. There are no moulding wires and the sole decoration can be found on the waist, below the shoulder. It consists of one line, 1950. There are no indications of a possible founder but the lip of the bell is not fluent like in most bells but shows an angle. Comparison of the bell with other bells like those in Greyton and Grabouw, suggests that J. F. Weule might have been the founder.
