Dutch Business case study: household’s electricity self-consumption and load flexibility through smart storage and energy flows management
In this Master Thesis Project, the business case has been studied for solutions able to monitor the energy balance and maximise the electricity self-consumption of Dutch households, in preparation for the gradual phasing out of the net metering policy starting from 2023. In the initial market research, products investigated were batteries, home energy management systems and hybrid inverters.
