From ‘Trucfilm’ to ‘Animatiefilm’: How the Emergence of Animation as a New Artistic Form Is Reflected in Dutch Terminology

Before 1940, the influence of foreign films, filmmakers and film networks on film culture in the Netherlands was substantial.
