During the Second Anglo-Dutch War, the port of Cádiz and the surrounding waters were the scene of the struggle between the two navies and numerous prizes were made by the privateers. This conflict coincided in time with the final phase of the Portuguese Restoration War, in which Portugal and its ally England clashed with Spain. The press of the period and the Notarial Records of Cádiz are essentials to know more about these actions. Este conflicto coincidió en el tiempo con la fase final de la Guerra de Restauración Portuguesa, en la que Portugal y su aliada Inglaterra se enfrentaron con España. La prensa de la época y los fondos de los Protocolos Notariales de Cádiz son fundamentales para acercarse a aquellas acciones. El artículo incluye la transcripción del pregón y subasta de una presa, una tipología poco habitual.
