The fate of ‘pseudo-’ words. A contrastive corpus-based analysis

The present study examines the fate of the neoclassical combining form pseudo- in eight European languages, belonging to Germanic (Danish, Dutch, English, German and Swedish) and Romance (French, Italian, Spanish).
