Potence (Armorial chain) of the Herald of the Order of the Golden Fleece
The potence consists of a collar of 26 plaques, into each of these are inserted two tiny shields with the coat of arms of a Knight of the Order. From the shields hangs a chain consisting of links in the form of firestones and flints, from which hangs a pendant Golden Fleece as the emblem of the order.
