Procession of Haarlem's Chamber of Rhetoric 'De Witte Angieren' for the drama contest of 1606

Const-thoonende juweel is the record of a competition among 12 chambers of rhetoric from various Dutch cities, held at Haarlem. In his dedication to the Estates General, Heyns notes that he is himself the author of pieces presented by Het Wit Lavender of Amsterdam. Winners in the various categories are listed in the publication.
