Religious Albany, New York, First Dutch Reformed Pulpit (2)

Pulpit of First Dutch Reformed Church, located on Orange Street and North Pearl Street. A short stairway leads from the left of the pulpit to the back. The pulpit stands on a wooden pedestal and has a lectern mounted on top. Above the pulpit is a second level lined with balusters. ; Note on back of photograph reads, "Pulpit made in Holland and used in the Dutch Church in Albany from 1656 to 1806."
