Typewritten on the mounted paper is : "As seen from the Erie Railroad right of way. The location is Ferndon Avenue. To the left is the parsonage. At the bottom of the picture is Piermont Avenue. Lower Right-hand corner is Comfort Coal & Lumber Company. The Sparkill Creek flows between Ferndon Avenue and Piermont Avenue. The property behind the church is the Tallman State Park.
