The book analyzes the image of Poland in the Dutch press (part one) and the image of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in Dutch culture (part two). Because the cultural image forms the central point, a wide variety of primary sources has been selected, in agreement with contemporary perspectives on imagology and cultural studies.
