Background. Encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis (EPS) is a serious complication of peritoneal dialysis (PD) with an increasing incidence. There is no clear consensus on the treatment of EPS, but anecdotal reports indicate improvement in EPS patients treated with tamoxifen.
